Save the Date! June 24 & 25, 2023

Friday, June 23, the Saskatchewan Bison Association presents Rockin’ the Ranch at Bison River Ranch (near Tisdale, SK). This public-facing event will feature various presentations on the bison industry. Supper is catered by Prairie Smoke and Spice BBQ and entertainment provided by Kendra Kay. This event is meant to increase awareness and understanding of bison production in Saskatchewan and serve as an evening reception for the following day’s field day.

Saturday, June 24, features Facilities, Feeds and Fellowship: A Bison Producer’s Field Day. This event is geared towards bison producers. It is an opportunity for producers to network and learn from their peers, extension specialists and industry experts. Presentations will feature bison handling and system design, feed and water testing, Government programs and the use of cereals in bison diets.
